What is Market Weather?

The AI aggregates 5 real-time macro indicators every day to classify the market regime. This determines the defensive threshold for trading signals.

Interpreting the Cockpit Gauges

• Market Trend (SPY): Tells us if the long-term momentum is healthy. The green band represents prices above the 200-day average.
• Market Fear (VIX): Measures fear. Green indicates calm (<18), yellow is caution (18-25), and red is active panic (>25).
• AI Aggressiveness: The combined result. 100% means the AI is fully active; lower weights mean shields are active (restricting buys).

Overnight Futures & the Dials

Overnight index futures act as a pre-market throttle on the main dials:

• Bearish overnight move (Safety Brake): If global futures drop significantly, the system automatically subtracts 15% from the AI Aggressiveness dial to protect cash before the open.
• Bullish overnight move (Confirmation): Supportive overnight conditions confirm the baseline trend and let the AI run at full calculated aggressiveness.
